Overview

Why It Matters

Remote work shouldn't mean remote desktop ports open to the world. We build secure remote-access systems that give your team seamless, fast access to office systems from home, site visits or the airport lounge — with multi-factor authentication, per-user access control, and full audit trails.

Like everything we do at V12, this comes with our family-run promise: honest advice, transparent pricing, and zero-jargon support from the same engineers who built your system.

Scope

What's Included

  • WireGuard / OpenVPN / IPsec — the right protocol per device fleet and use case
  • Multi-factor authentication — TOTP or push approval on every connection
  • Per-user access policies — accounts see the systems their role needs, nothing more
  • Site-to-site tunnels — branch offices and home offices joined into one secure network
  • Device onboarding — laptops and phones enrolled with one QR code or installer
  • Session logging — who connected, when, from where — kept for audits

Strong Authentication

Certificates plus MFA — connections survive phishing attempts, not just password leaks.

Site-to-Site Links

Branches, warehouses and key home offices permanently and transparently connected.

Granular Access Control

Per-user, per-network rules — accounts team reaches accounting systems, nobody else does.

Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android clients configured and tested.

Audit-Ready Logs

Connection histories retained and reportable — handy for compliance and insurance.

Our Process

How We Work

01
Scope

We map who needs access to what, from which devices, and any compliance requirements.

02
Build

VPN concentrator deployed on your firewall or a dedicated VM; policies and MFA configured.

03
Enroll

Staff devices onboarded in minutes each, with quick-start guides written for humans.

04
Maintain

We monitor capacity and sessions, rotate keys, and onboard/offboard staff as your team changes.

FAQ

Common Questions

If anything touches office systems — files on the NAS, the accounting server, cameras, printers — yes. A VPN also protects staff on hostile networks like hotel and café Wi-Fi, where credential theft is rampant.

WireGuard typically adds only 1–3ms of overhead and saturates most home broadband. Staff generally can't tell whether they're in the office or on the VPN — that's the goal.

One revocation disables their access on every device instantly — far cleaner than chasing down passwords they might remember. Offboarding is a standard part of our managed service.
